Chuck Prophet brought his band to our studio at the end of the second to last day of SXSW. Just as the sleep and sunlight deprived (we work in a basement) KUT staff was beginning to unravel. Chuck’s easy going nature and soulful tunes soothed our frayed nerves in the knick of time. That level head will probably serve him well as he tours the Old World for the next month. Watch this rendition of “Small Town Girl”. Chuck’s wife Stephanie provides the beautiful background vocals.
