Song of the Week: Okkervil River “Lost Coastlines”

Okkervil River is a band from Austin that continues to gain praise for its unique sound. Lead singer and songwriter Will Sheff and company are set to release a follow-up, or what some might call a continuation of their 2007 release, The Stage Names. It’s called The Stand-Ins, and will hit record stores on September 9th.

Song of the Week: Wild Sweet Orange “House of Regret”

Wild Sweet Orange is a young four-piece band out of Birmingham, Alabama that specializes in thoughtful, catchy pop songs. They’ll be performing in KUT’s Studio 1A on Monday during Jay Trachtenberg’s show at 2pm.

This week’s Song of the Week is a tune called “House of Regret.”
